(1984) 12" x 9" watercolor marker and ink on paper (water damaged.) Inspired by the tranquil, weightless atmosphere of the Beatles song, a bit of the movie Alien's cramped flight deck set and a little bit more of the movie Heavy Metal wherein alien astronauts stare dreamily out of the front window of their spacecraft. The colored version turned out rather garish, but I very much liked this image and eventually re-drew it with improved color styling.
