I've been working on it for most of the weekend :3 though I do tend to get distracted XD

So do I. >.< It's somewhat annoying when one is trying to finish a very detailed art, as it ends up taking ages. XD

With me, I usually only get distracted when I'm working on or about to work on large areas like backgrounds. Being a folder of super complex origami, I've never been one to shy away from unnecessary amounts of detail XD

Ick, backgrounds aren't fun for me, so I'd end up getting distracted too. XD Hah. I love detail as well, though I've never tried origami and never met anyone who did it until now. ^^

If I remember correctly (which I doubt I do) I think the dragon must've taken me at least 15 hours to make.

Ah, all right. *Was looking through more of your origami work* How do you...like...plan out those complex folding patterns for it? o.o

I do something called felting myself, which is working with wool and a grooved needle to create figures. I can spend hours on that and not realize at all that I'm spending hours on it until I look at a clock - is it the same sort of thing with you and your origami? ^^

For origami, my ability to plan out stuff isn't something I'm good at explainging. Simply put,it comes from a lot of practice, a lot of free time, and a good deal of motivation and inspiration :P

When I'm folding origami, if I really get into, I'll occasionally lose track of time. I'm usually watching TV when I do it, so I generally have something to give me a general idea of the flow of time XD

Well, it sounds like an interesting artform. Maybe I'll try it sometime in the future. XD I'll be watching for you to make more! X3 I like looking at them.

Thanks :3 The whole peice was done using watercolors (as well as a few other things), but the black liney part of the background was done with sharpie.

I am sorry about making that mistake. The water color is so even I mistook it for markers: no easy feat.
