Vaxx is a liked prey.
And has given Zodo a promise by mistake to be a voluntary prey.
For Vaxx the is digestion painless with additional magic.
Poor Vaxx just does not want to enjoy it!

Vore:
-He works as a non-fatal and non-lethal predator, who takes minerals, nutrients and energy from the preys!
To do this he digests and reforms the preys.
If the preys eat and sleep in their normal lives, they get back nutrients, minerals and energy.
After that he can eat the preys again!
(This this way it can also strengthen his magic.)
-The gem on chest enables the prey's reformation (reincarnation).
He always reforms.

Magic:
Zodo's powers are breath-type magic and stuff.
And his reformation ability.
