Man I love Kingdom Hearts... :)
Here's the cover page for the first chapter of my sort of fan comic based on the world of Kingdom Hearts. Everything here was made from scratch, including the title (yes, I know its not an exact match to the KH title, but its close!). I learned a lot about Photoshop from working on this as well, such as using textures and Paths and all sorts of things, it was a lot of fun. :)
I'm really hoping to do a page a week for it, but its not a required goal (like my webcomic sort of is) so I'm not going to stress myself with doing it. X3 Still! I'm super excited about this and hope I can work on it over the next week or so, despite all of the projects/papers I have to do. x_x;
Anyway! Here we've got Forest (or FW as he'll probably still be called in the comic), along with Mouse and Jizzal (who's gonna go by Zal in the comic) in the background on the "window" there. I'm rather proud of the whole thing, and I'm hoping you'll all enjoy the story! I promise it'll be at least half as confusing as an actual Kingdom Hearts game! Yay! :D

Btw, I've done that background once before as well, but I was a total Photoshop noob. It has took me days to to it....
But nowadays I'm able to create one in about 2hours or less |3

Wow I'm slow with replies... X3 No, the main pages won't be colored like this, it'd be much too much work...They will be shaded and stuff like the recent "Promises" comic I did though! That comic was also a test to see if I could pull of that style, and I think it turned out alright. :)
Wow...excellent! Like, seriously, the effects you used are perfect. It sure looks like a cover, no doubt! I wouldn't be at all surprised to be browsing Borders' graphic novel section and pulling one out only to see this as the cover! It's just that wonderful. :D Way to psych me up about your comic. X3

Though wouldn't killing for said skills be counter-productive? Though I guess they might let you draw in jail too...Oooh, that'd be a lot of free time... X3 Hehe, I don't think I've got too much confidence though!
