I'm beginning to think that I am 'cursed', every time I seem to lend somebody my black-covered 'fat furry' sketch book...
Back in 2007, I let Micky Kitsune borrow it, taking it back to Australia - on the promise that he would hand it back to me, when he returned to south Florida later that year... He never came back. And I'd spent the better part of 14 months asking him to send my book back by mail, which he eventually did.
In late 2008, I'd sent Nikkie Vix the same sketch book, which he was able to draw in a short time. Then, I found out that Aphrodite wanted to contribute to the same book, so I'd asked NV to send it to the artist. Since then, I haven't heard from him. Oh, he'd sent me the occasional message, letting me know when he'll be finished, and more then he'd told me that the sketch book was in an unopened package, the result of a recent move. And now, he has decided not to do any more 'fat furry' art, and is leaving "FA".
I was promising him that if he'd sent me the book back, I would not only reimburse him for the postage cost, but I would draw his fat feline fem character with a special sudoku puzzle attached. I'd finished that drawing two weeks ago...
But then, when I'd tried to add color to it, the 'curse' took effect. First, I'd scanned the image and spent four hours adding color to it. I was nearly finished, when a thunderstorm was approaching my area, and I tried to save the image on a floppy disk. It was 75% uploaded, when a bolt of lightning knocked out the power in my condo, and lost the image - both on the disk and in my Paint.Net program!
Furious, I started all over again, this time taking only two hours to add color to the image, before saving it on a floppy. I withheld from posting it, until I was able to add more shading effects to the image.
Today, I had added said shading effects, and clicked on 'Save'... Only now, my Paint.Net program wouldn't save it at all. Or, if it did save it, it didn't save ALL of it. Long story short, I think the disk ran out of storage room; so I'd tried to store it on a blank disk, but it wouldn't take.
Now, I'm on the threshold of having a total meltdown from this 'curse', and I'm on the verge of offering a cash reward to anyone who can get my 'fat furry' sketch book back from Aphrodite! (Details to come, if these ongoing conditions prevail...)
I STILL want to present this image to you all, so I'm posting the original B&W drawing, with the sudoku below the full-figured feline fem. Use a printer to make a copy of this drawing, and take a pencil or pen to solve the puzzle. "Good luck!"
