My baby Boy <3
He's been so good these past few days that I've been working with him!
This is Kusco the Llama everyone <3
We're so lucky to have gotten him! The owners he had before us neglected him and might have even abused him we believe..
The only reason we assume this is due to his halter being to tight when we got him, it had raw slightly infected skin underneath as if he's grown into it over time. He used to hate any one touching him and it'd take forever to get a lead rope on him. He also had a good probly 7 to 9 inches of wool.
Sadly we do not know his age, But! We do have some great news/progress with Kusco <3
We've gotten Kusco's Halter off and have gotten some medicine for around his muzzle. What used to take hours to catch him now takes less than a minute. He loves to cuddle with me, get hugs, lets me touch his muzzle(he's still getting used to that though!), and eats out of my hand! He's even almost fully sheered!! This was only over a course of me working with him over the past 4 days <3
So glad to be getting him sheered though due to the extremely hot weather we got her in WA the past two days ;v; <3
I'm also so glad he is feeling better and is comfortable with me! Hopefully he get's as comfortable with the rest of the family and others now <3
P.s. Also he has not spit at us at all! Thank the lord, I heard it stinks q o q
