Here's some ramblings. -Also this is my headworld and if any of the mentioned military roles don't correspond to nowadays.... I don't care. Keep that in mind ple-

Midlen - The middle part of Torgua seperating the west (Geneia) and east (Rogotta). A military power, meant to secure the borders and protect the people in the area from nature and bandits.

Casey has been a lieutenant for the majority of her life. Born in Crossga, the main city of the military land of Midlens, to her father who was a commander in the army, and her mother - a local merchant. Ever since she was little, she was inspired by her dad, and wished to follow his footsteps. Although her mother did not approve of it, she kept up support. Determined to improve, Casey proved herself in her strength, confidence and ability to lead, and with the help of her father's connections, and general Selmor, who seemed to be sweet on her, became a lieutenant at the age of 22.

Ever since that she has stayed in the position, happy with where she is. She has chosen to train the younglings - kids and teens, and does so well thanks to the discipline she brings with tough love and snarky yet friendly fun. She is respected by the kids and often they grow up to become friends, an example being Gharion. Now and then she is sent to lead missions with 10 - 20 soldiers. (Unlike her father who as a commander would lead an army.)

Ofcourse it hasn't been all simple and fun. She was a rather late kids to her parents, so they passed away from age soon. Father 2 years and mother 4 years after she became lieutenant. It was not seen as tragical, and she didn't grieve for long, but the lack of moral support was apparent. Even more so, general Selmor who she had gotten on with, gradually became more controlling and manipulative, using her and eventually when Casey would resist, he'd threaten with exile. It was a desperate time for her, where it was a problem she couldn't simply stab -well she could but it wouldn't help....- In time it got partly settled, with moral and rational help of Gharion.

Admittedly she recalls it as a dark time, ashamed of her naivety and how it managed to crush her confidence, so she keeps it quiet and avoids all and any conversations about it or Selmor.
Other than that, now that Selmor is gone and Gharion is the general she has regained her confidence and enjoys her time training the kids and the occasional mission.
