I can probably think of a few characters I despise more than her but not in this show. she was not nearly as capable or intelligent as she seemed to think she was, she was a cause of most of the internal conflict between the pirates for most of the series, and had no where the level of control that she thought. She instigated conflict with Charles Vane over the course of the series and then threw a tantrum when he retaliated. One of my favorite scenes in the series is when the Madam is telling Max about how Elenor alienates her allies and makes them into enemies.
