I had said earlier when i posted the Mech Beam Machine Gun that i'd use the same body style for it but alter it a bit. Those alterations were a longer barrel and a scope.

Specs: with twice the output of the normal beam rifle the High Powered Beam Rifle is best suited for mechs that will be used for sniping opposed to being carried for ground troop mech suits. the HPBR (High Powered Beam Rifle) has an effective range of a mile, can pierce 100 feet of all known alloy with the cost of a 3 minute cool time and a 10 shot power supply that feeds directly off the mechs own power supply.


I don't know where or how i came up with the idea for the High powered beam rifle other than I just needed to throw togethor more weapons at the time i was writing my original stories. The mechs in my stories that carried it the most were the Sliders the one's to use it second most were the Cyclops mechs.
