Lumexi information:
Lumexi are a magical creature with unknown origins. Each new Lumexi is born from and is attached to an item. That item must have been well cared for, cherished, and loved by a human in order for it to attract the attention of a Lumexi. When that Lumexi, the one who desires to create another of their kind, claims that item, it is fed with their energy and magic until another Lumexi is born. When they are born, the item is used up, merging with the newborn Lumexi and giving them some of the items traits. Because the item must be cherished and loved an extensive amount before a Lumexi can use it to create another, most Lumexi are born of non-organic items, such as family heirlooms or a child's security blanket. Lumexi born of plants or animal-based items are considered to be rare.

Normally, Lumexi are invisible to humans. Children, however, due to their purity and youth, are able to see them easily. They are often "imaginary friends", and plenty of Lumexi are born of the love-filled gifts children have given their magical friends.

Physiology:
Lumexi do not have a rarity trait system, being as varied in traits as the items they are born from. HOWEVER, they do have several defining features across the whole species. These traits are:

-A humanoid, androgynous figure
-An obvious lack of reproductive organs and mammalian features such as nipples or breasts
-A lack of pupils
-3 pairs of wings, decreasing in size from large, medium and small (top, middle and bottom, respectively) in various shapes
-A flexible, long, slender yet muscular tail with a ring, charm or bauble on or near the tip
-The ring, charm or bauble (sometimes a combination of all three occurs) has at least one glowing part to it, whether it is in the middle or at the sides. For example: a Lumexi with a book shaped tail charm can have glowing pages in the book, or the cover can glow, or both.
-Animal like ears that can move in various directions.
-Cloven hooves (few exceptions).
-ALL LUMEXI MUST BE BASED OFF OF AN ITEM! This is an important trait of the species. Their colors come from the colors of the item, and often their markings and hobbies are based off of it. For example: A Lumexi based on a flower might like flower arranging or hiking.
