I recommend after using spray primer to use Tamiya X20 or whichever brand thinner that matches your paints, and apply in thinner but layered coats with broader synthetic brushes. Also use a clear part specific glue for your canopy components, to prevent the plastic from warping and clouding; Lacking that make sure you apply it very very scarcely, with a toothpick/dentist pick/glue applicator needle/hook.

I believe Italeri makes Falklands War specific version kits of numerous aircraft in 1:72 scale, keep your eyes peeled if you wish to invest in the hobby further. A very rewarding experience.

a SEA harrier. The half of the cause that we lost the war (excellent, tought and trusteable machine, altough consumes lot of fuel)
the other half was the yankis AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles...

yes, our air force really didn´t had experience attacking ships, the nay should do that. but they planes was quite few (and to worse, they few and in bad conditions A-4Qs was terminated almost completly in a couple of missions) and we used 4 Super Etendart with just 5 exocets...

the navy aviation did the best that they could. but the air force was the one that worked, and suffered lot in the war

Didn't help that your aircraft were usually operating at the limits of their range, thanks to the 'Black Buck' raids both rendering the Port Stanley runways unusable as well as threatening similar raids on the Argentine mainland.

just check the inmense extra fuel tanks...

yeah, the Vulcan made the airfield more unusable but actually our Mirages probably never would be able to use it. Different story with the Skyhawks and Super Etendarts, and Aermacchis...

btw, i always liked the Vulcan, so elegant plane
