You never know, this could be his superhero origin story.. Not getting mutated by the glow stick stuff.. Nah he dies from that. But the gods feel sorry for the poor guy and bring him back with powers so hopefully he doesn't waste his life this time.

That'd be really neat ! And it does soundslike his actual story. Sadly (?) he can't really die of poisoning. He keeps waking up after "dying", feeling a bit drunk. :')

Maybe the reason he never dies is because he's the reincarnated form of someone who died in a horrible way, so the gods granted him deathless-ness in his next form.
