Taken at this last Sunday's Fur Now fur meet.
Little backstory: This was taken, not by digital means, but with film. Camera: Canon Rebel GII with 28-90 Quantaray lens (which is starting to become defective on me). Film: Kodak T-Max 100 film.
If I'm not mistaken, I see (left to right) Tora (out of suit), Balto, someone else dressed as Anji-Kun (in foreground), Azure Coyote (behind Anji), and Skittles.
Comments, questions, concerns.

35mm. I haven't shot that in ages. sometimes I miss it, sometimes I don't think I'd ever go back to it. But it does have it's charms. I wonder if Kodak still plans on stopping all film production in the next year. I used to use Kodak film when I shot 35mm. Finding that out was rather discouraging to me.
I love film, sometimes enough to make me wonder if it was my first love. And expensive love, but worth it.
That's certainly news to me. It wouldn't really surprise me if they did. I mean, after all, they already stopped production on the B&W paper, there's not really much to stop them from just ending the production of their film and color paper lines entirely. Which would leave only Fujifilm and Ilford left.
But for how long? I guess the next best logical step is to shoot raw and use plug-ins to emulate the look of film.

I don't remember exactly when, but I do remember reading about them stopping production of film because it's just not selling enough. And Fuji has turned me off more than once.
I started shooting more raw stuff recently, it's a little more of a pain to work with, but the results can be really spectacular. It all depends on what you're doing though as far as if it's worth the extra effort to process raw. That and shooting raw commits you to a lot more work. I'll go out and shoot betwene 3 and 6 hundred shots in a weekend, sometimes more if it's a paid gig. It takes about twice the time to process them working with raws. Usually I offer the option as my highest quality, as most people don't really care about the difference in quality unless it's something special they're recording, like a wedding, or want the extra detail in an image, like a special purpose macro shot.

Yep, that was me filming the volleyball. If I'm not mistaken,
