Still overly busy with everything, hence lack of posts.
Was looking around for something i could finish quickly and found this old amusement. This was penciled a year or so after "The Brave Explorer" as a gender reversal thingy:

Penciled around '04 (?) - digital ink of bodies mostly from '09, faces re-inked in '14. Edit of body proportions and background digital inking and tone the last couple days.
One might well look at the detail and wonder how this was something i could "finish quickly" - simple answer:i cheat. I used my selection outline tech on several layers for the grass, branches and leaves:

and my digital cross-hatching tech for about 95% of the cross-hatching:

( i developed these techs so that when i finally get to doing them graphic novels i can do a lot of the backgrounds without taking forever...)
Anyhoo...there's another version of this pic i'll post in a few days, post a larger size file at Weasyl, detail here, etc, and a colour version sometime...

Edit: Replaced pic with new improved version from tonight (04/30/17) : changes: upped saturation a little (less grey); added fishnet and bands to woman's "space/environment suit; fixed some bad inking on cat fella and smoothed fur fx; added a few subtle hi-lites to leaves.

The furry character is still a big fanservice figure even as a male. That cat has nice, sculpted seemingly strong muscles and is so big enough the woman is eye level to his pecs and abs. also even your female humans manage to be irresistibly big busted as some of your anthro girls.
Well...it wasn't fan service as such...just gender reversal of the original "Brave Explorer" pic.
My main story cycle (Emma and Ash, Raffa and Tia-Fal, etc etc) is hard SF and anthro and human characters exist together there for various plot points....This is from the Kitties In Space pin-up series which isn't connected to those stories as such and anything can go in one pin-up unrelated to others - just fun silly stuff.
And the ladies and gents who like seeing a buff handsome furry guy....well... ^_^

i just think it's lots of fun to make a pic that all sorts of possible stories and just run off and leave it to viewers imagination to figure out what's going on - what went before and what will follow...
