This doodle was inspired by a scene from a future story:
Meanwhile, Combat was in Dunston's office. Dunston, in his Dyno-Donkey costume, stood behind his desk, angrily leaning towards him.
"Do you have any idea how bad it looks to have a Bureau agent issue, for all intents and purposes, a death threat on live TV?!" Dyno-Donkey brayed. "Mind explaining what you were even doing in Chinatown in the first place?!"
"I was on patrol," Combat replied.
"Really? Because I've heard you've been looking for the Philosopher. Why?"
"I...thought he might have some information for me."
"Like, say, how to perform that death touch he used on Lilith?" Combat said nothing. "You need to clear your search history more often."
"Philosopher wouldn't teach it to me, anyway."
"Is that supposed to reassure me?" Dyno-Donkey replied. "We agreed we would bring Han Zhaoxing in alive."
"No, you and Elaine agreed to that, Dunston," Combat replied, pointing to Dyno-Donkey. Pointing to himself, he continued, "I never agreed to anything of the sort."
"Defeating Han doesn't mean we have to do away with him. Lately, you seem to have trouble understanding that."
"What I have trouble understanding is us treating a clear and present danger to the world at large like a common bank robber. Marvin Hester breaks out of prison regularly, Dunston. No way are we holding Han."
"May I remind you that, when you joined the Bureau, you agreed to abide by its rules and bylaws? One such law says that we will pursue due process as national law dictates." Then, Dyno-Donkey walked around his desk, placed a hand on the serval's shoulder and said, "Joseph, you are one of the finest agents the Bureau has ever recruited and I don't want to see you brought down by the same things that brought down so many others."
"What's that?"
"Pride and anger."
With that, Combat turned and walked out of the office.
