And here we have Melody's girlfriend,Selena! She is an arcelogists who got caught in a cave in and got horribly injured, and as a result had to have her limbs amputated. Fortunately, she qualified as a test subject for a new kind of bionic limbs and she accepted, hoping to gain her independence back.

It was then she met Melody, the one who design the prototypes for the limbs she now uses. Selena and Melody grew close thanks to the young scientist determination to help Selena, and years later they now live together.

Melody happens to do some crazy experiments that end up with interesting results (shrinking, goombified, etc), Selena often bails Melody out. ...Once she has had some time teasing her silly girlfriend over the messes she gets herself into that is!

Selena had undergone surgery to have bases attached to the sides of her shoulders and the stumps where her legs once were, so that her prosthecs are attached. These prosthetic can be easily removed for matinace and repair, and Selena's psyhic powers does make attaching them on her own much easier. She has gone through many versions of her prosthetic as Melody does come up with better designs for them.
