Bongoody (Feedback Wanted)
Drew up this little cutey for the PvA project and just have to share it with you guys! Would love to get feedback and thoughts about it's design, rather to stay as is or change up a little.
The Bongoody is a docile, mostly herbivore type of creature. The most notable feature about the Bongoody is it's creamy-like slime that covers it's body, much the same as amphibians do. However unlike our amphibians; The Bongoody's slime is not for keeping it's skin wet, rather it's for self defense. To a hungry pure-breed carnivore, the meat of a Bongoody is like a divine gift of joiceyness. However, the slime taste of the slime that covers the Bongoody's body is down right awful torture to the predator's taste buds, making it difficult for a predator to keep it's jaws locked on it. This being the case, the Bongoody doesn't get attacked much unless a predator desperately wants to taste Bongoody flesh. There is another wall of defense the Bongoody has, other herbivores. The taste of the slime might be appalling to predator tongues, but to the herbivore, the slime tastes just as sweet as our ice cream and strawberry
jam! It's normal to see a Bongoody traveling with packs other plant eaters for their protection, in exchange for a sweet taste of it's own slime.
In modern times when PvA's story takes place in, the Bongoody are treated like cows, but better! Unlike our cows, people treat Bongoody fairly and make sure they are happy. A happy Bongoody produces sweeter slime, which helps motivates keepers to treat the Bongoody better. When a Bongoody grows older, it's meat is packaged up and sold to hungry, yet not civilized carnivores. The overall farming of the Bongoody is still small scale, as single a Bongoody can produce while enough slime to keep a decently sized town happy.

I like the idea and design for this creature a few questions though is it possible to remove the slime from them enough that a carnivorous creature could eat them for example by scrapping or washing it off?
When you say mostly herbivore does that mean they could eat a larger creature like Lily or only smaller creatures? and while on the subject having an Extroy turn into one of these creatures would be a great way to avoid suspicion while still being able to prey on creatures, no one would expect them and since they already have a heavy set frame it would be harder to spot one that looks a little more full.
Roughly how fast can they move?
Lastly do they come in other colours and or flavors?

Yes, the slime can be removed as to remove the taste that preds hate. Removing the slime would be much like wiping it off or washing it enough with water. So a Bongoody must be careful when against a body of water. A push in and they can become a target.
While their diet mostly consists of greens and berries. Bongoodys will eat up smaller sized creatures if they get in the way, or if certain Bongoody feel a protein need. The need for protein would build up more towards fall, preparing for winter. Naturally, they can only swallow prey about as large as a sizely rabbit. Lily's brother, Nickelie might be at the size limit for a large Bongoody. Lily herself could not be eaten without the help of the vore ability. That said, I do plan to have a few Exstory hiding about as these things for that reason!
Exactly as I was thinking. Also an idea is because of the large frame, a Exstory disguised as a Bongoody could ley directly on a target and hide it completely until the coast is clear.
Due to it's stubby legs and round body. Bongoodys are not very fast at all. Their movements are more like waddles. They can keep up to others at walking pace, but can easily be out ran.
They would come in different flavors indeed! There is already plans for mint and blueberry. Basically any color would be a different flavor. The flavors would dull out when it comes to winter however. During that time, the flavors become something more like vanilla and other ice creamy like flavors.

Here is a funny idea Lily catches one of them trying to eat Nickellie thinking its an Extroy goes into a whole speach about not letting the Extroy win of something like that but have it turn out that no its just a normal Bongoody that was hungry.
I can see young ones being told to stay away from them by the adults but have it thought to be just an urban legend by the young creatures that they eat small creatures.
Also roughly how big are they for example compared to Lily and Nickellie.
And how smart are they supposed to be, real world animal intelligence or closer to what Lily has?
Would the slime from an Extroy disguised as one taste different?

Here's a potentially funny idea; the Exstroy that are tasked with obtaining the form for scouting missions view it as a punishment, as they taste horrible, and since they're still predators in the Bongoody form, the constantly leaking slime that gets in their mouths still tastes terrible.
