A classic animal for a classic character.
While his name is the Japanese word for Dragon, he strikes me as the lone wolf type.
This will also fit better with his rival "Ken" who will be next on the list!

Wow, he looks so cool! With this intro, I can't wait to see the rest of the rooster in your style. : D
I'm sure there'll be complaints over the lack of a sole shot, but this iconic pose wouldn't really allow it. No doubt we'll get some pads shown off with other fighters. ^^
My biggest criticism would be the effects on the Hadouken (I'd personally have gone with more, smaller lightning and more flame effects) and.. how does a scar work with fur?? =P
Kidding, it looks very cool. Amazing work with the shadows. There's even one on the bandanna! Nice wolfish detail while still looking recognizable like Ryu. Although!... his name does mean dragon. Did someone else occupy the dragon slot in the cast? <u<

I think the complaints will mostly be the fact that none of these are fetish pictures.
Im drawing them because they have to exist because for some reason they dont already!
This ones probably going to have the most shadowing as its got the strongest light source of any of the characters.
