Wanna know a secret?
I've never seen a horse in RL before.
All I go off of is ideals picked from other people's renditions.
I imagine if I knew a bit more about what they looked like up close, I'd probably end up making them downright ugly or too angular to be attractive in any way so in this case, for the cartoon's sake, fiction is better than fact!
