Bet you guys didn't see THIS coming, did you? Honestly, neither did I, but inspiration hit and told me it was high time to get back to a couple of my projects. I like this page because I feel it gives a good insight on Carmine's personality and thought processes.
Giving some insight into my OWN thought process, one confession I have to make is that I was never fully and completely satisfied with Carmine's appearance in Chapter 1 at all. There were times I feel I got it closer than others, but generally it wasn't quite charmander-like enough. I consider PMD charmander to be the gold standard of how the Pokemon is supposed to look, so this time around, I REALLY went back to the drawing board (literally) and used a ton of reference material to practice with and get a much better face and a more "squat" sort of stance. Needless to say, I'm still toying with this a bit, but this is by a GIGANTIC MARGIN the most happy I've been with her visual appearance. Like... I feel almost 100% happy about her face on it. =)
One last note, I'm really considering doing a Patreon for each new full comic page released. I'm still working out how feasible such a model would be as well as possible incentives for donating. I want to be clear that I fully intend to continue with comics and commissions regardless; this will just help me focus on doing more of the story-based comics I enjoy. This is far from finalized; just thinking it over.
Anyway, that's it for now. Been working all night, so it's time for bed. Hope you enjoyed your trip back into Carmine's world! =)

And to plan for the worst. Such planning is most important in Nuzlockes. I know Carmine isn't doing one, but I actually am right now. More specifically, a Wonderlocke of Alpha Sapphire. One of the first pokemon I got was a LV.1 Eevee. I'm currently about to take on the Aqua Hideout and that Eevee (now an Umbreon) is my highest leveled pokemon. Sure I may have lost a Ralts because I had to wondertrade it away as per wonderlocke rules, but Umbreon is one of my favorite pokemon ever, so I say it's a win!
