A Buizel design that I snagged for free, then tweaked into this guy.

His name is Ligurian Seas. His cheek marks are made by drawing a heart, then a thick scribble to break it up. He has the typical Buizel markings, plus two stripes across the small of his back.

Li was born in a lab as a genetic experiment. They were trying to alter the genetics in order to make living in different environments easier on the water weasels. Li was considered a success, colored to camouflage better along coral, but it wasn't only the color that changed for him. He has sharper fangs, and retractable claws on his hands. The claws are surprisingly long and form a sickle shape when they come out. The scientist believe that this is a trait that existed within the ancestral line that was revived through their genetic tinkering.

While Ligurian is an omnivore, like most of his kind, he prefers to hunt and feed on meat rather than scrounge up some seaweed or berries.





As for the title: Imagine another Buizel staring at him for his strange coloration. That's Li's response to the stare.
