This one was taken the same day as my other lightning shots.
Only exception, this one was not edited in any way.
These are my first collection of lightning shots I have taken.
It was biased on an experiment I wanted to try to get them.
As you may notice the experiment went smooth.
Experiment was working with different ISO levels ranging from 200 to 800 and all at an exposure time of 2.5 seconds.

For how long does a lightning stay visible like this? In my case, I get to see lightning at most once or twice a year and even then, it's hard to predict where the bolt is going to show up, not to mention being quick enough to capture it on a regular camera. :\
Last time I tried, I resorted to a DV camera and just took a snapshot of every frame it managed to take... I keep the resulting images here: http://www.getdropbox.com/gallery/5.....tning?h=5a2866

Okay! I checked your photos. They're pretty good.
But just one tip would be to drop your ISO so you don't get a big white blob of light and drop your exposure time really low so you can get all the branches of energy that may branch off later.
And I'm really curious with what you're using to take these photos. Video camera, or just really fast shutter speed?
