Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.

The art director requested a few more baddies for the bestiary, specifically more demonic Koros, and asked if I could come up with a few concepts myself. The general inspiration for these guys was "destruction" + "swarm." I wanted a destruction-themed demon, and since the art director needed a few more swarm-type enemies, I decided to make one vaguely locust-inspired (although he ended up more generically insectoid, but that's okay :b): small and fast, only interested in consuming, killing, and spreading destruction, going so far as even turning on each other if not sent against something to unmake. In fact, I thought, perhaps they even have a cult-like obsession with the beauty and art of death and destruction, and it made sense that my next demon would be their "god"... I'll be posting him tomorrow ;P
