Quite a few people have suggested for me to offer commissions like this, but I'm not to sure how I feel about it to be honest...

I guess that is true! It'd probably be hard to get the same feeling without picking certain colors and compositions.
Honestly my only idea then would to be to just offer these as Art Trades? So it's less getting money for working off of pre-existing content. I guess in a way it's the same but it's more trading effort for effort maybe?
Either way, I'm definitely all for you making more of these for yourself, it's really cool to look at. =)
