LORE!:
Lupo is a wolf of many colours and shades. Once a young practitioner of magic, within the college of mages, though not by choice. Lupo found himself forced to study at a young age by the forceful hand of his parents, who'd noted the mage's potential for magic very early on and looked to harness it.
Though the young, Italian born Lupo had a heart for something very different entirely... surrounded by dusty tomes and ancient lecturers, pestering him to no end, Lupo dreamed of entering the world of theatre. To tell grand and epic stories that would wow any who held witness to his shows, performances or compositions. Frequently caught performing to his own visage in the mirror and even more frequently mocked by his peers for his oddities, Lupo began to detest those around him who simply could not see his brilliance, nor appreciate his capacity for creativity. He yearned for a day when he would finally be free of the short sighted, dull individuals he was forced to listen to, day in and day out... and one thing kept the wolf's ambitious mind hopeful of a future that was his. His master piece.
A play that was made to incorporate so many things! Drama! Suspense! Action! Sorrow! Tragedy and Love... a play he'd often write and edit to meticulous detail within many a class at his college. On one fateful day however, the young Lupo found himself, nearing the end of his chef d'oeuvre! A single stroke of his enchanted quill that would solidify his work and complete it full... But fate had another path in store for the young wolf. His most hated lecturer caught his diverted attention in his class and gripped hold of the book. Lupo looked on with eye's of fear and pleaded for the thing as if his very heart had been contained within it's pages... only to watch as it was incinerated before his very eyes.
That night, the college was burnt to the ground. Later when the flames finally dimmed, those who explored the ruins, founded charred skeletal remains, posed in suitably dramatic fashion within the main hall, beholding a makeshift scarecrow, with a violet smile painted on it's white face, as if they were cheering on the gruesome performer. No one who knew Lupo as the boy he once was, saw him again. Some believed he killed himself in the wake of the flames. Others believed he travelled the world to pursue his dreams of a more vibrant and colourful world... though every year on the anniversary of the college's fall, the nearby villagers claim that the sound of instruments can be found, faintly playing from the depths of the forest nearby, drawing out curious minds to investigate, never to be seen again, once they dare to venture out...
