At least it looks as though it's better for the fox than I thought, though I don't think Sebastian or the bear mayor would agree with her about a panther's tongue being soft and the fox might not be too happy about the implication that he practices poor grooming. Still I think Macha's amusement will be quite short-lived after the mayor's comment, particularly since if anything he's the stupid one having failed repeatedly to learn when to keep his mouth shut. Besides, horses and centaurs have hooves and if she was feeling insulted enough would Macha be enough of a lady to resist the urge to kick him in the snout? That though might actually keep him quiet for a few weeks or months while his jaw heals and no doubt earn her everyone's gratitude. Or she could always keep him in a more sensitive region which he might also deserve.
