"...Sooo how much longer are we gonna hug for?" Kevin asked after the 5th minute into the hug.
"How ever long Tom needs." Blake replied.
"Actually...I could really use some space right now." Tom said in the middle of everyone.
"Huh? Is something still wrong?" Luka asked from behind Tom.
"Yeah! We're not letting go until you tell uz whatz wrong!" Vossah added.
"No, no, I'm feeling better, really guys! It's just...I'm wrapped up like a burrito in a thick winter blanket and I'm behind hugged from all sides by relatively hotter beings then humans...In other words, I AM DYING OF HEAT PEOPLE! I NEED MY SPAAACCCCEEE!" Tom shouted, everyone backing off as he wiggled himself out from the blanket, panting and sweating as he was finally free from everyone's clutches. "Oh my god that feels so much better!" He sighed out.
"So, you really feeling better?" Luka asked as he climbed up and sat on the top of the couch.
"Yes, really, I am." Tom smiled up to him. As he was looking up Kevin floated into his view with a video game in one hand, a pop bottle in the other and a bowl of chips balanced on his head.
"Does that mean victory party?" He asked, waving the game in the air rapidly.
Tom chuckled a bit, a sound that no one's hear in a while as he nodded. "Sure, lets have some fun!"
After that, their afternoon and well into the evening was filled with Mario party, Super Smash Bros, Racing and all sorts of other games along with snacks and drinks...well, if Kevin didn't try to drown himself in 10 liters of Cola that is.
All in all, Tom was happy that he had friends and family that cared deeply for him. Without them he wouldn't know where he'd be. So anytime you feel down and think your completely alone, think again, because you have so many loving people waiting for you just outside your door.
All you have to do is let them in :)
