I've been experimenting with a tablet, and i just want to say i hate my hands so much right now, especially compared to this. It's like i'm a kid doing finger-painting, and then i see this awesomeness.

I can honestly say that when I saw a photo of a blue nudibranch, that someone having a character based on it was the LAST thing on my mind... well, maybe next-to-last. Amazing beautiful picture... *applauds*

So all the sites I've been reading up on say that Glaucus Atlanticus's actually "upside down" - have you ever tried an anthro version that takes that into account? (I definitely didn't for my Glau, but would still be very interested - I've only managed to find one google pic that actually shows what a Glaucus looks like "underneath").

I took it into account... I thought it was obvious xD. Yep they do float "upside-down" with the foot against the surface tension of the water. His foot & cerata are exactly where they are in the real nudi, on the belly side, though the character swims around underwater more as a merperson. In glaucus and glaucilla the back is a lighter uniform color. I have hundreds of pics of these guys and thoroughly referenced the character. It is my favorite animal no doubt. :3 Glad to see others like them too.

I just got totally headfuck confused XD You are right. I had it flipped in my head. That is what I get for wigging out about nudibranchs the moment I wake up.

Do still want to see an anthro with the coloration inverted. Should go ahunting. :D

There was a post about them on a pretty popular science magazine about 3-4 months ago, which probably explains the sudden influx. Especially because their RSS post had the Glaucus as the main image :)

Sweeeet! That's awesome, that everyone does it a little bit differently in terms of matching the nudi+human anatomy. My Glau's a little different from that one, which is different from yours, so cool to see all the creativity! :D
