They're coastal, as far as I know, though the seller didn't actually specify. They're outside, since I live in western Oregon, in a pot in a water tray, with a sphagnum/peat/perlite mix. They get partial sun. They're doing okay, but some have been chewed on by something, I think maybe slugs, which is really annoying. I'm putting out slug bait now, so hopefully that will stop.
Ha! I didn't realize you lived in Oregon (I do as well). Or if I did, I'd forgotten. One good way to prevent slugs is to put copper tape around the pot. Slugs won't cross it, since their slime reacts with copper and gives them a little electric shock. I've found it extremely reliable. Keep us updated on those Cobra Lilies... I really want to try them some day. But I want mountain if possible. I should take photos of my carnivores and put them in my gallery!
