So, something probably not everyone knows/realizes, is behind the sona, I'm currently, and in my opinion, sadly, male. It's been something that's caused a fair bit of frustration to me at times. So, around the time I actually created this account, I finally came out to people that I was beginning gender transitioning. To a lot of friends, they seemed to have been expecting and waiting for me to finally do so, which was honestly a bit of a pleasent surprise, and I've greatly appreciated all the support they've given me, even if I haven't been vocal in it at all (seriously, much <3s to all of you, and you know who you are, don't stop being you).
So what's with the title? It's a song name by Ken Ashcorp (seriously, it's a great song, if you haven't heard it, listen to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pGuu8QMk6E), and the chorus just keeps ringing through my head. There's a second voice inside my head that tells me to shut up and trust this. Doubt circles around with what will happen, but just that voice telling me that no, this is the right thing to do, and no matter the hardships I know I'll face, getting through this will help me come out so much stronger, and finally be the person I want to be.

Came here from Draekos. I think this was very brave of you to express and it's a very interesting kind of "vent art" that isn't explored very much, one with a more positive message in there. Find out who you are and become the best possible version of yourself, it's a very encouraging thought. :)

I'll admit, as a cismale, it's difficult for me to understand that sort of thing, but I still try my best to be empathetic. I believe everyone has moments where they don't feel quite right about their place in their life, whether it's physical or mental/emotional. All I can do is offer an open heart and an open mind.
Found from the draekos as well. And I gotta say I kinda actually like that song a bit. All of this seems really good to take those steps. For some of us, we've all got our own journeys on how to achieve those steps to find confidence and new safety in places. Exposing ourselves, being vulnerable and it's hard. good luck with yours and taking the way. Deffinitely support to those who accept where you want to go makes it a little easier and a little less lonely. <3
