here's an old dumpy sorta ref i did of the sona i've been drawing most, from like a few months ago
there's no species listed cause it's not a species, i'm not all biologicaly specific about it either. the fleshy bits can be any color, im not anal about it. It's body is just a host of sorts, the actual being are the eyes, which Di can pull out at will, i just havent drawn that in fuken forever lmao

basically the eyes are born and roam around looking for a skeleton or very decayed carcass, then lodge themselves in the skull and slowly start forming a body around the bones. the shape is based around what they have observed on their way to their new body, so it's a mix of memetic and preference, as each eye has a taste of it's own, blablabla

whatever, they like wearing bright colored tshirts and overalls
