I can finally call this all but finished now. The Bow of Kindred, one of my personally most favorite creations in Minecraft. Hold sneak as you release right click after drawing it like a normal bow and fire three arrows at the three nearest targets.

It really is the three nearest targets rather than just a scatter shot as you can see comparing the Zergling Nincadas getting shot and the Creeper/Skeletons. The Bow of Kindred can be drawn rather quickly so it can be spammed rather well at point blank to keep mobs off of you.

However! Being the three nearest targets are shot, some mobs might be behind each other, meaning not all arrows will connect with their targets. The bow also only targets Monster class mobs so sorry, you can't spam it on cows. o3o

These screenshots also show the bow is fired horizontally like the inspirational source, Kindred (Lamb), from League of Legends does.

Zergling Nincadas are among the new mobs to be released in 1.1.0. This is roughly the fourth time they have been scheduled for release. I hope this time they don't get pulled again. c.c' Amazing they are nearly three years old by now and still have not made it to a public version.

A counterpart, Raptor Zergling Nincada is much faster and has a leap attack making it have excellent gap closing ability. When I shot the video for these screenshots, there was one in the group and it was too fast and all over me to really hit with the sneak right click. Instead I had to make good use of the fast drawback and single shot to take it down.
