It is an Angolan train, but not a narrow gauge. It is a full size, standard gauge train. The part of the country this train runs is not as ruggedly mountainous as the north end of the route where the train in the last posting runs...thus no extremely sharp turns and steep grades.

In reality, boxcars with open or removed doors have been used on the end of passenger trains as economy class travel...It has cost more money to ride in a coach.
Whether the CFB Railway still uses boxcars as econo-class, I would not know.
