This reminds me... Happen to have any idea what vaporeons have covering their bodies? It's obviously not fur (or I guess it could be, if it were shiny and smooth like penguin feathers), but friends have suggested things like a thick, rubbery skin, or perhaps even a suspended gel! I'll probably have to ask someone who goes to AGNPH to see for sure, I guess...

As for vappys themselves? Well, they were my favorite eeveelution for some time since they're of my favorite element, but recently that new ice-type has gotten me to rethink that... Also starting to get a liking for Espeons, but that might be a tad biased since my most recent love interest is one...

Hehehehe I've say either fishy-like scales or the rubbery skin :3 I'd go for the rubbery skin though for this picture n.n And Espeons are rather cute :3 They've got that look to them X3

And yes, Espeons are absolutely adorable! However, they're not the best to keep secrets from due to their ability to freely hear thoughts and all, but then again, they say the key to a successful relationship is not hiding anything, so maybe it's a good thing...

Plus, I hear Umbreons tend to be depressing at times. If Espeons are generally cheerful like my love interest is, then I'm glad I fell for the espy!
