Continuing my latest edition of "Throwback Thursday", I have another 'photo-op' from the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs, Florida - which Glenn (my brother) and I visited earlier this month...

Here's another avian creature we saw that day: a Yellow-naped Amazon (a member of the parrot family). Out of impulse, my bro and I tried to get the bird to say "hello" (as parrots are experts at mimicry), but all it would do was squawk.

Still, we were both fascinated by the Amazon (one of several in that cage), between its placid behavior and its beautiful green and yellow plumage.

I'll have another avian-related 'photo-op' from the nature center later today. This current one will stay in my 'Gallery' until July, 2017 - when it will be transferred to my 'Scraps' section...
