Thanks! I initially thought of doing the same thing, but after some thought, I decided to go with a scratched look. The next one I get though (which that would be the 1/144th HG Graze) will be a push even further, since I plan on giving it extensive battle damage via the use of drill bits, an engraver, and a soldering iron, which will pretty much give it "bullet hole" and close-range weapon damage.

GUNDAM BARBATOS LUPUS FREAKIN REX!!! I like it. Even more so i don't have this guy yet i only have two of the same model but LUPUS REX my god!! he's amazing.

yeah, I almost didnt get it because some other guy was about to grab it from the shelf after they just put it out. Fortunately, I'm fast and sneaky, so swiped it from the shelf while he was talking with his friend about it, and before he knew it, I had zipped past him and placed the kit on the cashier's counter.
