Man! It's so hard to find themes such as these in art sometimes.
Either it's super positive or just plain depressing. Sure, there are
works that mix them both but, many of which, to what I've seen
aren't applied well. You made my day from seeing this commission
though. The general theme really works in harmony with the mixture
of happiness and depression since there's a figment of relief comes
inbetween them. I kinda want to draw something similar to this right now.
