Just completed.
One of these is spoken for- But the lady needs to decide which one she wants.
The upper one has a grip made of Katalox- An extremely dense tropical hardwood from Yucatan, in Mexico.
Its so dense, it clinks like glass when tapped.
Takes a polish like glass.
The lower one has a grip made from olive wood- Probably either Turkish, or from the island of Cyprus.
I never make these kind of things anymore.
Mostly, I think its because I usually think in terms of full sized knives when I start planning projects.
Think of these as more wearable jewelry, rather than useful tools.
Though they certainly make for functional weapons.
