When reading Fumiko's description of their OC, this song came to mind and a picture formed in my mind so vividly.
I decided then and there to re-create that picture.

Its taken some time, a project between work and duties but I'm really glad to have it finished.
So much of my art is just characters, no backgrounds and very little is personal. Though this character does not belong to me, it was a personal work piece and is essentially a gift to Fumiko (who's art style and characters i adore).

You will find many elements in the picture that relate to the music/lyrics and many that relate to the character... it all just meshed together beautifully.
