Ashar has never been one for long-term commitments, especially not when it comes to courier service. A long contract might keep him in one place too long, or prevent him from flying to new places and meeting new anthros and dragons, or even make the anthros find such value in his services that they want him to stick around! Being a dragon, doing work on his own terms is usually easy enough: the anthros rarely want to try to go up against his strength, or have a way to match his speed--but sometimes he's caught unawares, and this is one of those times. They offered a good sum, had lots of parcels for him to carry, but then on went the harness, the collar, the bridle, and thus did Ashar become their pack-dragon for a time. He's not happy about it, not at all, and is likely to only be mollified a little by whatever payment he receives when they're done with him, but for now he's got nothing to do but carry for them...
