You get enough well-wishers every day that I do believe whatever I may say would be simply moot.
But that fact is that I can acknowledge and at least partly understand the great deal of pain, confusion, and fear you have to face on a daily basis.
And while my sympathy may not count for much, you have it. Use it how you wish.

The only plausible things my experience could possibly allow me to contribute to your particular situation is a simple principle;

Don't let what happens to you destroy who you are. Live every day as if you had an entire life's worth of work ahead of you, and regret nothing that you have done with sincerity.
Provided of course that you acknowledge that everyone else in the world is bound by the same principal...

Ah, medical joys. Well familiar with them, especially when it's something that can't be "seen" like a busted arm. Getting really tired of hospitals, m'self.
