Decided to try a British second world war period rifle. I really like the angled magazine, but the bolt action nature of the rifle must have been a real pain to deal with firing in a rapid fashion. Unlike the M1 Garand which was semi automatic, arguably a much better rifle. But in the correct hands even less efficient pieces of machinery can be more effective.
The Bowman in me agrees, its better to land one well placed shot, than fire several missed shots.
