"All suns must set." Amur once had left the protection of the Hekma at his own will to train at the wastes and become stronger than anyone inside ever could. Yet what he gained out there was far more than strength. He discovered the truth about his homeworld.
Raging and mad with fury his spark ignited. Now he has come back to tear down the Hekma, open the eyes of his borthers and sisters and lay ruins upon the schemes of the dragon.
So since Amonkhet is soon to be released I got kinda hyped for the new jackal anthro species of this world and wanted to give them a planeswalker of their own (there card can be found here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23231774/ )
I hope you like my artwork ad find the character a little interesting.

I hope the same. I think he will be black/something and for that a Jackal or a Minotaur would be quite fitting, but since we already had a black red minotaur legend in Amonkhet and no legendary jackal I think that's quite likely, plus in the previous sets we usually had at least one planeswalker originated to the world we were on.
Good points. Although if it is a jackal, I think it will be red/green. Those are the colors they seem centered in, and given that they always like to have some color balance between planeswalkers, and we already have black with Liliana and Bolas, I don't think they'll have a third planeswalker in the block with black.
Actually I think it very likely because in INnistrad and Kaladesh there was always a color three times among PLaneswalkers. In Innistrad we had three white ones (Sorin, Nahiri and Tamyo) and in Kaladesh we had three blue ones (Sahiri, Dovin and Tezzeret). That's why I think it likely we could get three black Planeswalkers in Amonkhet. I would prefer a red green jackal, but I think we would have to see how his personality and origin is and still I think red black would be possible since we don't really have an universal red/black planeswalker. Only the mad Sarkhan, who is build towards dragons and Daretti who is build towards artifacts, so we would need a red/black planeswalker and I think red black is fitting as well since we had a lot of mechanics for that lately (e.g. Madness and cycling).
But in the end it's just a theory of course and a red/green jackal would be awesome as well of course, but I find it less likely since we just had Arlin who is pretty generic in her abilities.

That we did, although I was talking more about color weight, not so much number of times a color appeared. You're absolutely right about overall, and that we have an abundance of GR planeswalkers. However, in the long term, I think them doing a RG jackal here, and a RB Minotaur for when Theros rolls around again, that would make the most sense.
Well, on theros we would have also other races that are possible planeswalkers, for example centaurs that could also be red/green. Either we have to see how it turns out, wizards is hard to predict at times - only when they announce something big and make it a mystery of course, then it's the most obvious (I'm looking at you Emrakul -.- )
