yeah, I know, another planeswalker, at least he's not green again, you might figured by now I love creating planeswalkers haha x3
also I am a really big fan of the jackal race of Amonkhet so I wanted to have such a planeswalker, and while I personally think there is a chance at least we will get one in Hour of Devastation, I am not really good for waiting ^^
I tried to put some story into him, like being from Amonkhet of course, but not from the city (that's why the name) and make him an enemy of Bolas or things like this. That's led me to other ideas for his abilities, like destroying enchantments or even emblems, or something against planeswalkers, but I tried to make him more useable in general in the end, although he probably would run best in a madness deck.
So, anyway, here you go, my own B/R jackal planeswalker, inspired by some already existing cards, like nahiri, liliana of the veil or kolaghan's command.
The full pic will follow some time soon.
If anyone got critique or comments, I REALLY wanna hear them, especially for balancing things, since I am only one person and can't know every card or possibilities. Also ideas for new cards would be great if someone got an idea^^
Thanks anyway and have a creative day~

You probably want to change the first ability to this: "You may discard a card. If you do, draw a card." It's copy&pasted from Nahiri, but for a reason. If you have no hand cards, you can't use the ability (as far as I can remember).
With Nahiri's wording you can activate the ability, but you don't have to actually use it, so that you can increase the loyalty counters every turn even if you have no cards in hand.
Overall the card is balanced and fits the colour theme. Compared to other 3 mana Planeswalkers he may actually be a bit weak, but no one needs another Liliana of the Veil. ;)
Two starting loyalty is no problem. There is no way to get rid of him before he gets 2 more counters with his +2 ability, so he technically starts with 4.

There came no discard/draw mechanic to my mind that isn't used already on Planeswalkers: http://magiccards.info/query?q=o%3Adiscard+o%3Adraw+t%3A%22planeswalker%22&v=card&s=cname You could modify it so that it also does something else, but it is complicated to do that for a + ability without making it too situational, bad or overpowered.
WotC already started to reuse some abilities on Planeswalkers, especially on guys like Gideon or Liliana, so it is not that bad. Although the card may look boring and/or unoriginal, this card synergises with itself and is useful in some blackred decks. I would play it.

hm that's true, and even if they didn't use the same ability word by word, it comes, especially on guys like gideon or nissa, that they are pretty much the same serveral times. I gonna see what I can do with him, I will change at least that part, that you may do it, like for nahiri and besides i have to see.
Thanks for the feedback anyway, much appreciated.

With these changes I would change some small things for balancing, because red looting with two cards is much stronger than with 1. Compare it with Dack Fayden http://magiccards.info/ema/en/199.html
I suggest one of these changes:
change the first ability to +1 loyalty, reduce loyalty cost of the ultimate by 2 and the cost of the second ability by 1 (and maybe increase starting loyalty by 1)
or increase mana cost by 1
No problem. I will write something to your other cards, too, if you want. ;)
edit: Balancing is hard

Yeah it is. I am still trying to fix this one.
I agree with changing the second ability's cost and also thinking about the final ability although idk about this one since it might be too strong if you can cast it to soon or too often. I guess that would depend on the deck it'S played in of course. In a madness or delirium deck it would probably be pretty strong, but in other decks it might not be too efficient..soo i think changing that one wouldn't be a bad idea i think. Alhtough idk of how much since I actually want to keep the +2 of the first one.
And about the first one idk. I thought having the first ability give +2 might at least be a little different from the majority of planeswalkers, who get +1 with the first. I took this one from Daretti ( http://magiccards.info/c16/en/123.html ) who also get's +2 but well, he also costs a mana more to cast, but then again only one colored mana. Further I thought using his ability might not be that bad since he is only from commander and not relevant for modern or standart.
And if you want to help me with my other cards as well that would be nice, I can always use a helping hand and don't really have anyone I could ask, so that would be kind of you^^

The ultimate is not that strong. The Opponent can use graveyard hate before you can use it and Amur has no good way to stop enemy creatures from attacking him.
However I would change it that only creature cards in the graveyard are counted and let him use it that ability one or two turns earlier. Would sometimes prevent one shot situations and still is not too strong, but requires a deck suited for him.
Multicolour doesn't make such a big difference and again I wouldn't try to do a different way to design a card by all means. His first ability is strong, because in one or two turns you can recycle your full hand.

Hmm true. I think I might change it to permanents then, so it'S still worth using and doesn't get too overpowered through instants and sorceries and non-creature permanents usually are the minority of cards in a graveyard, depending on the deck of course. And you're right, there was a lot of graveyard hate lately actually, so it's probably not that strong anyway.
And for the first ability, I actually think it's not that op. I mean compare it to cards like faithless looting or tormenting voice. Either casts less mana and also lets you draw two cards and tormenting voice only requires one discard. So if someone builds his deck on such a type of cards, there would be serveral alternatives he could cast sooner and easier (since they are only red) if needed. And his other abilites are nothing too strong either, especially since I will change the final one again. And I mean if he wouldn't be useless i wouldn't need to create him in the first place.
Also I wouldn't underestimate the fact he is multicolored. If you compare it to a mono-colored planeswalker, he is as twice as hard to cast since you always need two different types of mana, what then again means you need to play (or at least produce) those colors. While you could play liliana of the veil e.g. in every deck that is at least black, you would need to play additionally red for Amur. It may not make much of a difference for decks that are already black and red of course, but if there is a way to be efficient for other decks, they would have troubles playing him since he requires an additional color, which they might not play.
In the end it's all academic anyway, he is no real card after all and just designed for fun^^

Yeah, I just realised I get into a huge discussion about the balancing of a card, that isn't even real. :D (If you won't print them to use them in your own decks at least ;) )
The main reason that red looting on a planeswalker card is much stronger than on Faithless Looting is that you can use them mutiple times without spending extra cards and/or extra mana for it. But in the end I think two discarded cards on turn 3 may still be kinda okay, yes.

Ikr? x3 But I don't mind, I never could talk with someone that much about my custom made cards hehe
And yeah, I know, it's strong, I'm not saying any different, but I thought it might be a good balance since the other abilities are not that powerfull. I will think about it thought and maybe reduce it to one card at a point.

There's a fun one from Amonkhet - Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. She's retarded as a commander - black and green for cost, when she deals combat damage she puts a -1/-1 on something, and whenever a -1/-1 is put on something I get a 1/1 green snake token with deathtouch. There's a combo with her, blowfly infestation and falkenwrath noble. Hapatra kills one of her snakes, makes another snake doing it, blowfly puts -1s on the new snakes that hapatra infinitely makes now and all the while noble is burning people and boosting me 1 life at a time.
