Sooooo... most mornings I am at work by 6:00 Eastern. Coffee is essential for any and all forms of problem-solving that happen in IT. Oh, what's that on my head you ask? That's Corvus (VK primary fursona) in her feral form. My head is where you'll most commonly find her. She is happy to play with my head whether I am fully conscious or not.
"Hey TC... why do you start work at 6am!?" - I am often asked. The theory is that I can leave as early as 2pm. Which...... never happens. But... it's pretty quiet at least for the first hour or two when there's only a playful Corvus or some other awesome friends on here to keep my company. :)

*prrprrprrfluffpurr* ^^ I'm currently doing a six week long role in central London, so the commute is being kinda a fun busy adventure... and there are three different longer term roles that I'm in interviews for. :) Two of which would be right in town so I could walk to them, and be permanent things outside of academia. So really hoping at least one of those comes through!
Thanks hon. :) The London job is going well so far, and the commute is kinda fun actually for the short term (apart from trying to come home on Day 1 when a power outage took out the entire train station I used!) and things are still looking hopeful for other jobs. :) So claws still crossed.
