Well, here it is, another Tae short. One I had in mind for a little, bit, nothing serious, more silly then anything. But hey, sometimes silly and fun works just as good, if they can be pulled off right. Not sure if I did that hear, and kept Tae in character, to her profile. Second time I written her, so may still be some things to work out.
Also added in her best friend, Zaiya Soulstar, who belongs to my good friend
Snowfyre hoping I got her right.
Anyway, wanted to get this done last month, but you know how things go.
Also curious to see who figures out the little reference I put in here. Shouldn't be that hard, heh
Anyway, enjoy

Back and forth the jungle floor swayed the leaves and bushes rustling from the light breeze. Animals walked, some grazing, while a few looked up to see the strange creature swinging from the vines. Most ignored it though, since it’s been there for a while. Most sentient beings would have straggled to get out, cut themselves free, or at least try and get to a more upright position, so the blood doesn’t rush to their heads. Most would try to avoid this sort of thing when climbing trees, to avoid any mishaps that could result in death.
Tae was not one of those people.
While, the Fennec-Dragon goddess didn’t intend to get wrapped up in vines, her curiosity did spike when she saw them. That was two or so full moons ago, she lost count. Not that she mind, as she stared at the wildlife mingling among the grass and shrubs of the jungle floor. Of course, she would have poked them, but being tied up, kind of didn’t do that much to help.
To put it simple, why was she like this, because she was curious. Curious to see what happened, curious to see how long it would take for anyone to find her and just curious to see how long she could keep this up without getting bored.
Of course, she had come close of just breaking free and call it off, but she seen the animals go about their lives, and was curious. Squirrel-rabbit like creatures scampered up the trees, some even climbing down to get a sniff of her, before running/hopping up back up the vines. They were cute little things, often with green fur with brown mixed in, great for hiding among the leaves. Not that big, maybe under a foot.
Of course, they weren’t the only ones; she had seen lynx like lizards stalking the area, often chasing the squirrel-rabbits, up the trees, sometimes following. A few had noticed her, and had investigated, showing at least a small leave amount of intelligence as one sniffed her before growling and backing at the others, who backed away. The lynx lizards were larger, at least around three feet, crawling on all fours, though, standing up on their back legs from time to time. That lot had a basic colouration of red and yellow.
Still, wasn’t until recently, that the goddess had turned her attention to the plants, noting that nothing seemed to look that different then a number of places, she had been too. Though some of the trees had purple pear like fruit growing from them, kind of smelt pleasant from what she could tell.
Another night passed, with the twin moons of the planet shining their light down on the planet, as the night broke to day. As the goddess hummed a little tuned she picked up from some planet, she think it was Earth, what one she couldn’t remember. Eh, that’s what happens when you are long lived and can travel between different universal planes. But the song itself, sounded cheerful, if only cause it did seem to fit optimism well, despite one of the lyrics being about looking the bright side of death. She still sung it thought, from time to time, despite thinking that mortals could be strange. Still she thought it sounded very optimistic either way.
She had become aware of some of the sap from the tree, had started to mutter her fur, making it rather sticky, as she glanced up at her body. The red silk that served as her clothing was torn, and dirty, as she smiled a bit, can’t go through life without getting dirty.
Tae’s attention was drawn back to the ground as she saw one of the squirrel-rabbits, nibbling lightly on the end of one of the tail hairs. It seemed to lose interest as it sniffed the green tip of one of her long ears. It leaned in closer, reaching upwards sniffing her right ear a bit more. The goddess just giggled, watching as it got a little more curious. It sniffed her, going from her ear, to her purple hair, to standing on its back paws to sniff at the blue horns jutting from her hair.
Taelia just watched amused as it continued, before eventually giving up, and walking off. With a giggled, she went back to the little song, as she waited, until someone found her, or she got bored and curious about something else.
A few more days and nights passed, as she glanced down at the jungle floor, the glow from her markings helping when night came, if just barely. She was thinking another day would pass, before she heard a twig snap, and a voice speak. “Tae? What are you doing hanging upside down?” the voice spoke, as the fennec-dragon turned and looked in the direction, with a large grin on her face.
Standing just a few feet away, was her best friend, a fellow goddess, and one of the few that puts up with her rather high levels of optimism and curiosity.
The goddess in question was gazelle like in appearance, standing taller than Tae would be standing up. Two horns rose from her head, above her eyes, with two long ears extending upwards, with both the ears and horns having a small orb floating above the tips. Dark blue hair flowed down her back, reaching to about her tail, which was long, with two hair like tails, similar to Tae’s only they grew out of the base of the tail.
Her fur was light blue, with the top of the tail being dark blue, before fading to light blue and finally white fur on the underside and the tip. The bottom of her muzzle was white, with the white fur descending down her torso, which was covered by dark green and light green clothing, covering her chest, she didn’t have large breasts like, Tae did, her friend was more flat chested. Though near the bottom the clothing, made from divine silk split, with one long part covering her front like a loin cloth, though Tae was sure she wore underwear from time to time, with two more bits covering the outside of her legs, going down to her knees.
Yellow markings, like angular crescent moons were positioned on her arms, legs, back and tail. With a short stripe of yellow fur under each ear, and a white stripe above each, covering parts of her upper eye lid. Green eyes, looked at Tae’s own light green eyes, as the upside down goddess smiled.
“Zaiya!” She cried out, happily, really glad to see her friend.
“Tae?.... What are you doing, tied up in vines?” The Goddess of the Guiding Light asked, glancing up at Tae’s entangled body, noting that her fur was dirty and messy in places.
“Well… I was curious” Tae explained, causing Zaiya to sigh a bit.
“Should have guessed. Ok, let’s get you cut down and washed up” Zaiya said, as she moved to cut the other goddess down. Tae just smiled, glad that she did stick around here, even if it did take a while for Zaiya to find her. But, that was part of what she was curious about doing all of this.
