So, RCFM. While I hung out at the Artist's Alley for most of the time it was open, I had to go play a game of Quake 3 Arena while it was up in the LAN room. A hefty 12 players played to 75 kills. Most everyone had custom models loaded up so players looked like foxes, wolves, huskies, one Sonic, and a couple of.... tents. Fucking campers. :P
I had been leading the entire way through with a decent cushion of about 6 to 10 kills. Until the end. Second place passes me up even as I stepped it up, and beat me, 75 to 74.
Oh well. :P

D'awww, I had that happen to me once, tied for second in a deathmatch tourney and in the tiebreaker duel, the rotten little ****ing lysergic ****roach I was even with, got ONE kill on me and then hid for the next 9.5 minutes while the whole room booed.
...Of course, that was so long ago, I was playing Quake 2. <_<
