This is a hair practice I drew to gear up for a major hair-oriented commission. I'm focusing on getting more detail out of hair and drawing hair with more body and weight.
I like this look a lot. I think Cobalt (at least the female version of her) will keep this style for a bit.
Cobalt is owned by me.

I swear your fascination with all things hair must be contagious. Not that I was without interest before meeting you, but you've definitely added a visceral satisfaction to imagining growing/having enormous amounts of it. I suppose in my case that's fueled by a combination of vigorous hair growth as a symbolic shorthand for health and vitality, on top of just how gendering hair can be with its growth patterns. Incidentally I would definitely encourage a male version just to have that contrast both ways. Might be a handsome look for you, all maned and bushy-browed.
You know, when I first saw the thumbnail my initial impression, perhaps due to a somewhat similar mane profile, was that you had done a Cobalt version of the Beast ala Beauty and the Beast. That could be a cute frame of reference to draw inspiration from, if you decide to export some of this look to your Y-chromosomed counterpart.
And of course, now you have the gallery looking forward to just what this commission you've mentioned will be.
