Some more will be appearing in the next page as well as reoccuring folk from this page Im also surprised how many folk asked what "pass the parcel" was. Maybe its called something different in america..basically......its where a gift is wrapped in like 20+ layers of different coloured wrapping paper, you pass teh parcel around to some music and when the grown up turns the music off teh parcel stops moving and whomever is left holding te parcel gets to remove 1 layer of wrapping paper until at the very end someone finaly unwraps teh prize and gets to keep it

We US furs have an altered but similar game. You sit in a circle, with a ball of treats wrapped up in plastic wrap. Candy, gift cards, and worthless items are wrapped in it. You wear thick mittens and the person next to you rolls dices until they get doubles. then you pass it when they roll doubles, trying to unwrap as much as you can before you have to take off the mittens and pass the ball to the next person. :)
Well if we talk children games I get two games that I think that are diffrent in germany or witch I only heard are played here.
First would be "Plumsack" witch is a varation of the "Duck, Duck goose" but with a ryhme. "Dreht euch nicht um, der Plumpsack geht um. Wer sich umdreht oder lacht, kriegt den Buckel schwarz gemacht. " (following is a google translation) " Do not turn around, the pound-pack goes around, who turns around or laughs, gets the hump black."
And a game I never heared children playing outside of germany is "bad wolf". Its played witch at least 5+ children. 1 child is the "bad wolf" and the rest of the group are the "children" The "bad wolf" stands on one side of a field (often a football (soccer for all you americans) while the others stand on the opposite side. Then all children (except the "bad wolf" ) shout "Who fears the bad wolf? Nobody! And when he comes? Then we run!" (the questions are often shouted either by the bad wolf or a third person like a teacher) And then both groups run to the opposite side of the field with the bad wolf tyring to catch as many children as possible. If someone is catched hes also a "bad wolf" and also catcher in the next round. The game ends when either alls children are catched or Last Man standing so the last children whos not a catcher at the last round wins.
We played that very often in kindergarten, preschool and at the soccer clubs.
And well theres also Flunkyball witch is more a game played at adult parties but the rules (or more the equipment) can be changed for children. You have two teams from 1-3 person. Both teams stand opposite to each other with a little field betwen them. I the middle of this field a empty plastic bottle (or similar ) is placed and every participant gets 1-3 bottles of a drink placed next to them (in most cases beer but for childrens partys this can also be little bottles of juice or water) then 1 team gets the "ball" (often another plastic bottle ) witch they then throw at the bottle in the middle. If they not hit the other teams gets the turn. If they hit every participant of the throwing teams has to drink their drink as fast as possible while 1 person of the other teams has to run to the "goal-bottle" and has to place it back in the middle of the field and get the "ball" back to his team. As soon he did that the opposite team has to immidetly stop drinking. And this is repeated till either 1 team has finished their drinks, everybody except 1 is unable to continue playing or the stocks of drinks has run out. To prevent cheating like spilling your drink there a penelties like 1 "punishment drink" (a extra drink the person has to finish before his team wins) or "punishment seconds" (seconds in witch the other team is allowed to drink).
Like I said more a adult game (especialy popular at metal/rock concerts and festivals ) but It can also be played with changed rules and equipment for children and person who dont like alcohol.

Another Brit here. Hmm the Bad Wolf one sounds similar but different to a game I remember playing as a kid called "What's the time, Mr Wolf?" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What%27s_the_time,_Mr_Wolf%3F
Edit: Seems the version I played included the element mentioned for "1, 2, 3 piano!" Not with the knocking but with the players who aren't the wolf having to stand as still as possible when the Wolf turns around.
Whereas I don't recall ever playing any version of Duck, Duck, Goose.
I remember pass the parcel, musical chairs... um... probably others I'm forgetting.

I've never heard of it from the frozen north. We do however have a similar thing where we cover it in maple syrup, let it harden and use hockey sticks to try to crumble off the hardened syrup BTW a certain lil lynx looks adorable in that outfit, wonder if there's an adult sized one :P
In Denmark we have a parcel game where you throw a regular six sided die, if you get a six, you get to choose one of the many parcels on the table, then you pass on the die. When all parcels have been distributed, a clock is set for a random time that only one knows (usually 15-30 minutes depending on the number of participants), and now, whenever you get a six on the die, you get to steal a parcel from another participant. When the clock sounds, the game is over and you get to keep whatever is in front of you.
The only place here in the Netherlands where I know they do "Pass the parcel" is at the Scouting. Only it was usually some king of sweet wrapped in aluminium foil and you threw a die to see how many times you could cut the parcel with a knife. Never seen it done at parties here before either
Young Star looking so incredibly girly - that is really an unexpected turn - thinking about the way she dresses and behaves as a young adult.
Fun fact: In the third panel I first thought, she was wearing the balloons on her clothing *giggles* Now I have to think what would happen if they were having to much updraft - Star suddenly floating and trying to walk in the air, being totally confused x)

oh yes, this has RL past experiences connections and they'd be a gaggle of boys laughing at was outside of their idea of 'cool' making yoo feel like rubbish. I suspect what *may* happen next is the "I wants I wants" moment which doesn't slot in with how the game is played.
Super drawing and very very regressive. A*

Soon, as in sometime before the middle of 2018? You had expected to have Found wrapped up by February of this year. I know you're busy, but it seems like you keep shooting for something and falling short because of all the details and stuff that end up going into the pages.
I mean, this is a three page flashback to when Anastasia was a little girl. Sure, it explains stuff, but Star isn't even, apparently, ready to think about a diaper change at the party, although it might be quicker than she can imagine. Plus, she's going to have to get her spanking, we all know it's coming, and then Martin has to get involved somehow.
So, I'm sure we'll get to see her brothers, and her parents, pretty soon, as relates to how the story goes, but maybe 40-50 pages from now? LOL

In the us we play pin the tail on the donkey . Some times hide prizes to be found.
I never went to kid partys only cousin ones .
Being bullied wasn't invited to any.
I'm surprised Stars mom didn't threaten to dress her brothers laughing at her in a dress.
Now have nothing to do with any family my sister ruin that.

We used to have a similar game at Christmas time in Texas, but it was more of a race to see who could unwrap the parcel completely before the music stopped. And whoever did get the last piece off kept the prize. It was like a Christmas party game, so we never really did it around birthdays so that's new on me. ^^
Oh My God! Star (Annie!!!) is ADORABLE! What a cute little girl she is. Yellow bows in her fur LOVE the dress. She is so totally cute.
I'd squee if I did that sort of thing!
Wonderful.
By the way, I don't know what 'Pass the Parcel' is, either. We didn't do games at birthdays, just a mass of children descending on the household for cake and ice cream, and then outside to play whatever games we thought of there. Usually didn't dress up, either. But, then again, I never was the little girl I wish I had been!

Eh, better than my birthday parties. My parents had WEIRD party games, like wrapping a kid in toilet paper.. And stringing pieces of breakfast cake on a washing line and you have to eat it with your hands tied behind your back. Not sure why they considered it fun? (I'm a terrible parent.. I've not done any birthday parties. But then again, I don't think my kids would care very much about them. They kinda like doing their own thing.)
I see that Game in Peppa Pig
Here in Mexico is call "Pasa la papa or Papa caliente" (thought the potato or Hot potato) and any object or a potato we pass to every kid till the music stops and the one that has it when the music stops ... Lose and go out of the game, anyone do not want to keep the potato (or any object used to) So the game turn more rapid and agresive

What's odd is Wikipedia says it comes from the northern US (my original stomping grounds) but I had never heard of it. From the context I could figure out the idea but that was a guess. Interesting game.
I love the work on the party scene. That cake with the sproingy sevens and the balloons! You've perfectly captured the mood of a birthday party at that age. ;)
Star's brothers are such a nice touch. I love how they're just poking the bear so to speak by giggling while they know she has to be good. Of course, when the dress comes off later I bet she'll make them pay for it. :) I also note the continuity of her hair being brown at that age. :)

We have White Elephant, where people bring gifts and then numbers are handed out. Person with number one goes first, 2 second, etc. Each person can either grab a gift from the pile or "steal" one from someone else before them. Game goes on until no more gifts are left to grab/get stoleb. It's noti american, probably european in origin. :P
Sharks and Minnos is a kids game where there's people sorted as 'sharks' and as 'minnows'. Sharks on one side of the field, minnows on the other. When a teacher calls it, the minnows try to get to the other side as the sharks tag any minnows they can. Tagged minnows either get turned into sharks or become 'seaweed', where they stay in place and try to tag minnows coming to them. (I heard this is an American spinoff of 'Bulldogs'?)
Here's a nifty link comparing some American and British games: http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophen.....icans-vs-brits

I've played it once and it went bad for me. I got the gift on the last wrapping paper then instead of me opening it the other kids sitting next to me took it and said I purposely held onto longer and that it was his not mine. Sure enough he started a fight so yeah I can see how it can go bad and if anyone asks I did not hit him. Just a argument that made him swing at me.
We play pass the parcel but a different way. The "prize" is wrapped with many layers of newspaper and duck tape. Packed tight.
The first kid puts on oven mittens (making it hard to grab the prize) and gets a set amount of time (like 15-20 seconds) to try to rip it off with their hands only.
It's super hard.
Once their time runs out, it goes to the next person.
The mitts make it super hard. Like a baby opening the tight layers.
The one that gets it open gets the prize :D
I almost one once but I was pretty old, so I let it be pretty much unwrapped when I lost and my little cousin next to me excitedly won. XD

I'm from the US, and I can certainly say that I am not aware of anything even remotely like "pass the parcel" here. The closest thing I can think of is "Dirty Santa", where everyone brings an cheap wrapped gift, only marked if it's for a boy or girl or something vague like that, and adds it to a pile, and then each person is randomly selected to either take a present from the pile or either take one from someone else if you don't have one or trade with someone else if you do. After everyone gets to go 2-3 times, everyone opens their present and gets to keep it.
Question: What year does this story take place? If Star is 25 here in the 2010s, that means she would've had her childhood in the 90s and early 2000s and grown up with Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network cartoons. The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a Saturday Morning cartoon from the late 80s, and there was no Internet in the 90s, at least it wasn't widespread, so it's not like she could've found older cartoons online; she would've had to have actually watched it back when it aired on television. Then again, according to your newest upload, the Bryce family photo, Star's brothers are much older than her, so...I don't know what to think.
