nowadays since i understand holy week and attend good friday a lot more often, i find myself reflecting a lot more on the suffering of christ
and frankly, it makes me feel very depressed; i often think of good friday as the true black friday
it also has a lot to do with events that happened to me right on this week some years ago...
nevertheless
For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
Nor has He hidden His face from Him;
But when He cried to Him, He heard. --Psalm 22:24 KJV
my saviour did not suffer alone. and my sadness from past hurts can be something from which i can move on.
